Aunt Carrie's

1 Cup Butter
¾ cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 Cups Flour
½ lb. Shelled walnuts or 1 lb unshelled walnuts

Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk and flour.
Roll dough in the shape of marbles and then roll in egg white and chopped walnuts.
Bake in 325 degree oven for 5 minutes. Then take a thimble and make an impression in the center of the cookie. Continue baking until done.
After removing from oven fill center with raspberry preserves.
